Booking Process

When booking with Tiara Mehndi the normal process is as follows:

For Bridal Henna

  • Initial contact with the client, this is when we start building a relationship and establishing the needs of our customer and how best to meet them. All brides are offered a complimentary trial prior to booking so we can meet and get a feel for each other as well as discuss their vision in more detail.
  • Once the bride has selected her desired amount of detail/coverage and we have confirmed our availability we will send over a quote for the services.
  • If the bride would like to proceed a Booking Reservation Email is sent containing a full summary of the booking for the bride to review and confirm. We will also request a deposit* at this stage to secure the booking.
  • If any changes need to be made to the details stated in the Booking Reservation Email, they need to be raised prior to placing a deposit.
  • Once the deposit has been received a Booking Confirmation Email will be sent out which confirms the booking as per the details in the Booking Reservation Email.
  • Once booked the process of developing the bridal design begins. We ask the bride to list what she would/would not like included in her design, if there are any customisation she would like and to send any inspiration pictures she has to us. Using that as base we can then start drafting designs which will be sent to the bride to provide feedback on.
  • Once the design is agreed the next step is the application day. For henna application it is best for this to be done 2/3 days prior to the wedding on a day with no functions to allow the bride to follow the henna aftercare fully. Or if there is a function on the day the henna should be applied at a time that allows enough time for the henna to be dry before the function starts.
  • It is best for any beauty treatments such as waxing or manicures to be done prior to henna application as these will affect the henna stain.
  • Final payment is to be made on the application day. If paying by cash this may be paid once then henna is completed, bank transfers must be done prior to application .

For Party/Guest/Event Henna

  • Initial contact with the client where we discuss the event and confirm availability. A rough estimate of guest numbers is helpful at this point so we can advise on the booking length a recommend the package that best suits your needs.
  • Once we know the date/time/location and package choice a quote will be sent to the client.
  • Once the services and pricing have been agreed a Booking Reservation Email is sent containing a full summary of the booking for the client to review and confirm. We will also request a deposit* at this stage to secure the booking.
  • If any changes need to be made to the details stated in the Booking Reservation Email, they need to be raised prior to placing a deposit.
  • Once the deposit has been received a Booking Confirmation Email will be sent out which confirms the booking as per the details in the Booking Reservation Email
  • The Booking Confirmation Email secures your booking and the next stage would be the application day. It is best to let guests know in advance there will be henna and how much henna to expect.
  • Final payment is to be made on the application day. If paying by cash this may be paid once then henna is completed, bank transfers must be done prior to application .

*The deposit is 50% of the final booking and will only be refundable in the case of Tiara Mehndi cancelling the booking. The deposit is redeemable against the final booking. Please note the booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
